VERSACE: A/W 2012 CAMPAIGN

‘I’m really thrilled with our new campaign. The result is bold, iconic and perfectly conveys the sexy rock vibe of our A/W collection.’ We couldn’t agree more Donatella- you’ve certainly assembled the A-team for this gorgeous new campaign. Sun, sea and something glimmeringly mediterranean usually springs to mind where the golden Medusas involved, but Mert and Marcus’ interpretation for A/W 12 is somewhat dystopian. We still wanna be there though. Sweaty of brow, and almost pained by our own hot-ness. It’s off season seaside, and we’re imagining (should Elza wiggle a little closer to the surf) black sands to set off all that metal embellishment. Tenerife maybe?! Just me.
